If this was Blizzard with LolKalgan or Mythic with that other idiot whose name does not deserve to ever be mentioned or SOE, they'd stick to their ill tracks and would *anyway* implement their garbage.
CCP are capable to admit they borked it hard.

I think somewhere around the road, EvE team got asked to act with the DUST team (or the EvE programmers are put on DUST and others had to replace them to fill in the "hole") but without giving the former any time to actually prepare a good expansion.

As quite new to the game and these patches drama, I'd like to ask one very very simple thing:
If the patch was going well and there was good consensus, did anyone at CCP post why it got completely scratched and redone (in an impopular way)?
